Jupiter - acrylic on linen, 100 x 120 cm, February 2021 I’ve always been fascinated by that gas giant way over there. I loved studying images of it as kid. How could something so enormous be nothing but gas? What would it be like to plunge through that turbulent atmosphere? It’s interesting to consider how we’ve romanticized something that in a cosmic sense is utterly ordinary. But because it’s just barely within our reach it’s become a rich playground for the imagination. (at Munich, Germany) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMSJmMBBfzx/?igshid=3ylhl6ihbp3c -- source link
