“The end of the evening was punctuated with a kiss. In the midst of blurred lights on a empty pier, these two stood side by side. Their history lingered between them, silently, but heavy. So much was left unsaid, but there was a fiery desire to shout and scream the truth. Kirishima thought of the first day they met, the first day where he was exposed to his best friend’s initial bouts of rage. Bakugou was nothing more than an animal to him at that time. He wanted nothing more than to spend time with friends, get stronger, become a hero, and eventually become the same man Crimson Riot was. His world was already full; it was bright and colored with the smiles of his friends, long days of training and endless food, and the warm support of his teachers. It was perfect; but then there was Bakugou. Bakugou was everything that Kirishima had expected, and unexpected at the same time. And just at that moment, Bakugou’s hands were already roughly wrapped around Kirishima’s hands. Kirishima could feel the rough, and sweaty palms of Bakugou’s hands; he’s always known the sensation of Bakugou’s touch, but it was always translated with punches, grapples, handshakes, and.. the one time Bakugou was able to trust another person. Their eyes met for a second, and the sight of crimson disappeared before Bakugou closed the gap. It was quick, instant, just like how all first kisses are meant to be. Except, there was more teeth than expected.“Dude, dude, calm down.” Kirishima took Bakugou by his chin, and lightly pushed him back.Bakugou scowled, pushing Kirishima’s hand side before placing his left hand firmly on Kirishima’s shoulder. “Ok, then let me try again. Don’t try and lecture me.” It was like a small fire was in Kirishima’s chest. It was a joyful ember scattering its ashes around, as its attempts to spread and envelope the entirety of his chest. He wanted to be consumed by the fire, his smile was littered with nothing but teeth, and an eagerness to practice, practice, practice. “Alright, alright. I promise. Do your worst.”Commissions are still open!Support me on Patreon!Buy me a coffee!
