I received my copy of Forgotten reason a few weeks ago. It’s perfect bound with 36 pages, full color. The cover has a nice pearl finish, similar to the cover of Long voyage. The content, of course, is similar to all of Range’s pervious doujins. Most images have been published and are available on the web. About half of the images have some kind of thumbnail, or sketch to accompany the piece. I didn’t find this particularly interesting, since the sketches were very simple and seem to take up space instead of adding to the book. The book did have a few images that I haven’t seen around as well as some mechanical designs, which I haven’t seen Range include in his doujins for a while. Overall, Forgotten Reasons felt a bit small compared to his previous books, but there definitely a nicer variety of work in this one. Still, if anyone were interested on picking up any of Ranges doujins, I would have to recommend Ideal World, Glass Tile and Sweet Chaos Dayz because of variety these books have, compared to the rest. -- source link
