6 years ago I tried my hand at leather working for the first time. I had no experience on what I was doing. I decided to make a rose on my first attempt. The only tools I had were a hammer, bevel, and a scrap piece of leather. As you can see it came out ok but nowhere near what I would be satisfied with. It didnt have that pop or standout detail most tooled leather pieces had. So comparing my first piece to what I’m able to create now I can see a lot of improvements in my work. But since this is a side hobby I’m nowhere near a master craftsman.
