I think what has been most surprising about this year is how broad my use of art and design has been in my career. I have had the opportunity to do everything from abstract concepts to open comp to both traditional and digital graphic design and illustration. There have been times when my creativity has flowed freely and energetically through me while other times I have found myself pushing that much harder to come up with an effective concept. It has been a mental challenge to see how far my mind has been able to push through this new adjustment, but I’m thankful to see what I have been capable of, and I hope to bring back a work life balance that will help me flourish not only in my career, but in my personal artistic pursuits and goals, as well.
