magicalandsomeweirdhometours: This co-op apt. building in New York City looks like a typical older high rise. But, inside is one very special apt. Doesn’t it look like quite the castle? The amazing Downton Abbey style apt. has a medieval theme and is called an architectural masterpiece. The carving on the fireplace is a nice touch. The living room has 17 ft. ceilings. It also has heavy wooden beams, two fireplaces, and stone arches. Two dining rooms, one for every day. Stained glass windows overlook Gramercy Park. The master bedroom has some gallery wall and another huge picture instead of a headboard. There are 2 bds. and this is the guest room. The 2nd fireplace in the informal living room. One of the floors is made with vintage pennies.Lovely roof top terrace. I could not find a picture of the kitchen, probably b/c all the apts. in the building have small galley style kitchens, and the baths look tiny too, according to the floor plan.https://www.elledecor.com/design-decorate/house-interiors/news/a8847/downtown-abbey-house/ -- source link
