New personal piece for me! I was getting a little tired of all the “mostly blue” color palettes in my Mermaid illustrations so I wanted to try something different with a lot of yellows and golds. I am calling this piece “Sunset Mermaid”. She is inspired by both Disney’s Pocahontas and Moana, two of my favorite heroines! (Also if you look closely there’s a small hummingbird next to her!). -- source link
