This man never fails to inspire me! I would have run through a brick wall for him in the late 80s/early 90s and I would still today! He has inspired thousands and continues to inspire and motivate every day! I always felt that the best classroom experience I ever had was in the 5-20 minutes each day before we started a training session when Al talked to us about whatever subject was on his mind that day. I’m convinced he is the best collegiate distance coach in the nation regardless of division, but more importantly he is a great man and mentor!
