amnhnyc:The Cape sundew (Drosera capensis) is a carnivorous plant that’s well-equipped to catch flies. Its leaves are lined with tentacles that are covered in a clear glue-like liquid that helps it to entrap and digest prey. It can also curl up its leaves to put insects into even more of a bind. The Cape sundew is found in marshes in the southwestern tip of Africa.
