[WIP] Trying to get this done in time for Flame Con but ;___; idk we will see! Otherwise I will just put it online!Hey y’all! Thanks so much to everyone who showed up to the signing at Gallery Nucleus (and sorry to those who couldn’t grab a ticket in time; they sold out SUPER fast!). I had oodles of fun meeting everyone, seeing familiar faces, and hanging out with Mike and Bryan (they are such good dudes). Just to clear up some confusion I’ve been seeing: TURF WARS Part 3 comes out August 22nd for direct market (comic shops), and September 4th everywhere else (Amazon, bookstores, etc). The books that were available at Gallery Nucleus were a special limited early release, which is why you’ve been seeing screenshots everywhere. I’ve been really enjoying seeing everyone’s reactions, hehe. Don’t forget to tag your spoilers!And further confirmation: This will be the last Korra book I am on, but there will be more (Mike will continue to write)! The library edition for TURF WARS is also happening, but I’m not sure of release date. TURF WARS consumed a year and half of my life, my blood, sweat, and tears, and it kicked my ass into shape. I am so grateful for having been given the opportunity to work on these books with the support and wisdom of the team, and it’s time for me to move on and do my original stories. To be frank, in large part it is simply because I was not paid enough to draw these comics for the amount of work it asked for, but… that’s the comics industry I s’pose. And I’m a storyteller at heart – I’ve got a ton of queer, magical, heart-wrenching, action-packed stories I want to get out of my system and share with y’all!
