The leather kimono work “THE LEATHER SCRAP KIMONO” designed by Tomoe Shinohara won two crowns, a silver cube and a bronze cube, at the 101st New York ADC Awards (THE ADC ANNUAL AWARDS).Ezo deer leather is used as the material, and the curve of the edge of the leather that is originally discarded is likened to the mountain where animals live, expressed in gradation, and made into traditional Japanese costumes and kimonos that use the fabric without waste.
