Hugag A Hugag is a large, mooselike animal that is said to roam northern Minnesota, western Wisconsin, and the wilds of Canada. Unlike the moose, this animal does not have antlers and also lacks any joints in its legs. It has a long upper lip which prevents it from grazing. Its head and neck are completely hairless and have a leathery appearance. The Hugag has four toes and, despite being hairless on the head and neck, a shaggy coat. The only way a Hugag can rest itself is if it leans against a tree, since it cannot lay down due to its lack of joints. It eats pine needles, twigs and bark. Some accounts state that the Hugag oozes pine sap since it eats so many pine needles. -- source link
