When I Was Me: Moments of Gender Euphoria now on Kickstarter!Quindrie Press’ new book When I Was Me: Moments of Gender Euphoria has just launched on Kickstarter! When I Was Me is a collection of autobiographical comics about the joyful experiences of transgender people, edited once again by Eve Greenwood and Alex Assan. The book has gorgeous cover art by C. A. P. Ward, is fully designed by Spire Eaton, includes 9 original poems by Harry Josephine Giles, and features over 70 trans people in a mix of comic artists, illustrators, and story contributors.We are offering backers the option to buy additional copies to be donated to Books Beyond Bars UK, a collective that distributes books and literature to queer people in prison, and 50% of all post-campaign sales of the book will be donated to organisations that support young trans people in the UK.It’s a truly beautiful book and has been a wonderful project to work on.
