This is a commission from @akweer. I asked them to just do the line work and leave the coloring to me, and this is my attempt to try and replicate their coloring style. Something that seems soft, competent, and has a subtle texture in the background that just seems to bring the entire thing together. Before this, I never thought of adding eraser streaks to give a shine. I never thought a hard drop shadow could add that much, yet here we are. I’ve already added texture to several of my other coloring to great success.I always like how angular Akweer makes their hair. And the Anatomy just gets better and I am especially impressed by their anthro. A believable body is surprisingly hard to come by in this world of over-sized everything. I find the simple, and the perfectly proportional more aesthetically pleasing.Anyway, yeah. I haven’t stopped coloring, just lazy in posting. Thanks for sticking around. -- source link
