revoltedstates:Had the honor to be involved in recreating an 1861 photograph of recruits for Co. G, 1st Colorado Infantry drilling in Empire, Colorado. We stood on the same spot the original Co. G stood 155 years prior. This unit was primarily composed of miners who hailed from all over the US, Europe, and Canada.
