aatmajapandya: Here’s my full piece for Ladies of Literature Vol. 2! Thanks so much for supporting the Kickstarter! This is Hornet from The Thief Lord, by Cornelia Funke. I read this book off-handedly once when I was little, but it ended up resonating with me super deeply. The atmosphere and environment in it is fantastically well-developed, and Hornet was the sensitively written girl I had never been able to find in other YA fiction.
