madeinthenude: Nude Space. We all need space to be ourselves. To listen to and acknowledge the needs of our bodies. However, we are social creatures and only having space to ourselves isn’t enough. We need to be with others. We need to have a space to be with people who appreciate and understand us. It doesn’t have to the same space as our personal space. As long as we can be with others. The most important reason for social nudity is that it shows us that we are not alone. We are not weird or crazy for wanting to be nude and to live that way. Many other people feel the same way. The Internet doesn’t cut it. It can’t replace the feeling of being next to someone. Feeling their presence and sharing their space. It doesn’t have the immediacy of human interaction. It can’t mimic facial expressions or body language. It can’t sit across the table. Together we can enjoy and spread nudism to others. When we create space to be nude, others can enjoy it too. It doesn’t even have to be our house. It can be a club, a beach no one else visits, or a spot we can rent for a few hours. We can open it and close it when we like. The benefit is that when we allow others in, it encourages them to be open themselves. It creates a positive feedback loop that can expand and encourage others. We have our space and we have space for others. Why shouldn’t it be nude? Text by Made in the Nude.
