Templars are usually only allowed Normal type Pokemon. The Rockruff Alister was caring for while with the Chantry refused to be left behind when he began training. Grey Wardens find Fairy Pokemon to balance the Taint. He didn’t choose Mimikyu, but wasn’t about to deny the cute nightmare much of anything.
