“Hi it’s my first time confessing here, and I don’t know if I’m doing it right, but anyway, here it is. So, first of all, I’m an anime only so what I’m going to say is based on vnc anime. So yeah, I’m just confused on Vanitas and Jeanne’s relationship. Don’t get me wrong, they are my OTP i love them so much but I don’t feel confident about them. Because first, they seem like enemies right? Jeanne hate Vanitas for assaulting and teasing her. So I thought, okay maybe they have the "I’m sorry" & "get to know you stage" after this so I’m gonna wait for it. But there’s none?! And then the next day, BOOM! they are already dating, like what? What’s happening? That’s so fast.. No get to know you stage? Not even sorry to Jeanne? They haven’t even talked to each other properly, all they did is sucking blood, teasing and glaring to each other here and there. Is there a “get to know you” stage in the manga? Also, is there a time where Vanitas will say sorry to Jeanne in the manga? I wanna know so bad but I suck at understanding manga stories. Is there a deep development to them? Or it’s just a crush/puppy love? (y'know intense but relatively shallow type of love?). I love them so much and I wanna brag them to my friends but me, personally, feel like they are rushed and shallow, atleast in the anime. But then my friend who reads the manga, said they have development (a big, big development) and we will see it in the second cour of the anime. Can’t wait to see that.“ -- source link
