jalissachanel: donzlesdead: blujet: thetattedstoner: kauaii94: marcsblerdblog: THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN MARVEL!!!! Since Marvel officially announced that Chadwick Boseman was cast as T'Challa the Black Panther, many fans have called this casting a home run on Marvel’s part. For the past couple of years he has been one of the hottest actors in Hollywood following his critically acclaimed performances in 42, and the recent Get On Up, which will surely get him many nominations during awards season. Now the question is, who will be Chadwick’s supporting cast of characters, and who is best to bring these characters to life. These are some of the most popular choices. 1. Nicole Beharie as Monica Lynne - Since Storm is off limits due to that character being owned by Fox, Monica Lynn will probably have a high profile in this movie, and who better to play Monica than the actress who played his wife in his first major movie 42. Nicole is a favorite in the geek community due to her role as Lt. Abbie Mills on the surprise hit TV show Sleepy Hollow, so given her already strong chemistry with Chadwick should make for a great casting choice. Honorable Mention: Meagan Good 2. Danai Gurira as Princess Shuri- Clearly there is a bias for actresses in the geek spectrum. Other than being a dead ringer for the character, who better to play T’Challa’s ass kicking super badass sister Shuri, than the ass kicking super badass Michonne herself, Danai Guira. She has proven herself on Walking Dead, and a role like this will only build her star power even more. Honorable Mention: Lupita N'Yongo (if she can isn’t cast as Storm in the new X-Men.) 3. Dennis Haybert as King T’Chaka- He doesn’t just sell insurance, he kicks ass. There are so many badass actors that could play the role of the noble and regal T’Chaka, but anybody who has seen 24 & The Unit knows the size, voice, and dignified demeanor of Dennis Haybert would make a great King of Wakanda. Honorable Mention: Peter Mensah or Wesley Snipes, (just so he can be in the movie he so badly wanted to be in the 90s.) 4. Angela Bassett as Queen Mother - Should there be any argument about this? The almost ageless actress Angela Bassett shoudl no doubt be a front runner in the role of T'Challa’s step mother and Queen Mother of Wakanda. She’s already played the mother of countless black figures in history. Get it done Marvel. Honorable Mention: Alfre Woodard or Sophie Okonedo Giancarlo Epsoitio as Uncle S’yan - He’s Gus Fring!!!!!!!! Nothing else should be said. Get it done Marvel! This.Is.Fucking.Perfect Blackout!
