The Golden Hairpin, a fun mystery set in Ancient China. I chose to read the English translation rather than the one in my native language, and I was not one bit disappointed. If you grew up watching Chinese series, the book will take you back to the atmosphere you used to be so familiar with. If you’re not familiar with these images, you’re sure to enjoy this new unique setting. I love the two main characters, and I sure would love to read the author’s next installment.
