His undercut was completely gone.Calm days like this, when his only concern was his signature hairstyle, were a sorrowful bliss. He knew his time was numbered. He counted it with every laughter he got from Pieck. In this sieged world with no future, eight years sounded close enough to forever. They would die in one of those expeditions if they were lucky. Otherwise, someone else could have her after he expired. Worst case scenario, he could fix her up with Reiner. That tacky hunk was a try-hard but he was a capable try-hard.Like hell he was. If Reiner was capable, Marcel would not have died.Who was Marcel?Who was Pieck?Porco froze in confusion. [2]“Where are we?” Porco asked.“Must be one of the Warrior confinement traps,” Marcel sighed, “let’s see when Commander Magath will let us out.”Porco had heard of those traps for immuring misbehaving Warriors. A string of steam escaped his palm as it healed. “Let go, Galliard.”That was when Porco realized he was looking at Pieck on her Titan’s nape because the Cart’s entire head was in his mouth. Her armour was completely distorted, baring her nape. His teeth impaled the iron mask and sank into her skull. It was Pieck’s blood he was tasting. [4]He still had a bunk bed. Only the lower bunk had beddings.Pieck shot him a knowing smile, and sat on the bed. Porco walked over and rested his head on the bed frame. They would get rid of it soon. No one was going to sleep in the top bunk anymore. When they bought this new bed two years after Marcel’s departure because Porco had outgrown the old one, he was the one who demanded a bunk bed. He joked that Marcel would get mad if they didn’t even save him a place to sleep after such a prolonged mission.He could feel Pieck’s gaze but Porco avoided her eyes. They did not need to talk about this now. He was not ready to talk about this now.“Sit down, Pock,” Pieck said. Porco groaned at the nickname, which prompted a chuckle from her.
