I learned something new today. I planted this strange flowering ginger, Globba wintii, last year only to think that it had died. Upon seeing it again recently, I did some research and found that it flowers from July, until going dormant in the Fall. Not only is it a wonderful display of flowers, it also adds color in shady conditions. -- source link
