a-l-ancien-regime: Engers castle, Diana’s hall. The Engers Palace, designed by Johannes Seiz, is located on the Rhine in Neuwied district in Rhineland-Palatinate. The Archbishop of Trier and Elector Johann Philipp von Walderdorff used it from 1759 to 1764 as a hunting and summer palace. In the Hall of Mirrors (Hall of Diana) in the 1st Floor, the murals and ceiling frescoes are by Januarius Zick (1730 – 1797), a painter and architect, considered to be one of the main masters of the Late-Baroque. -- source link
