ok so when I was young about 10 my dad would get drunk & put his music on really loud & there was this one song I really liked. being 10 I didn’t really understand the meaning of the song or anything but I just really liked it. dad played this bands music for years & years & still does. when I was about 12 I think I asked dad about this band, the first thing that came out of his mouth was “they were an amazing band, but the lead singer blew his head off with a shot gun” i really didn’t understand suicide or anything at that age, sadness yes but not anything dark & deep like that. so about three years ago being fifteen i started singing to the song he always put on & he was like don’t sing this song you don’t know shit about this band (only joking & being drunk like he does) then we sat & talked about the band & how the lead singer of the band the foofighters used to be in the band. from than night I was hooked, I used to listen to there music when I was alone or I wasn’t feeling so happy, & then it became most of the time, this music made me enter a world of music I never knew was even there. over the years of reading stuff about the band, and mostly kurt (as I feel in love with him at first glance of is beautiful face) & listening to there music, I just really felt a connection to kurt & I still do. I now know what I was experiencing back when I was a kid & still do now. feeling suicidal, depressed & all those other things isn’t easy & kurt showed us that. but some times there is no going back for people & for some people they get better. i wasn’t even born when kurt was alive & making his music let alone when he left this earth. but I love this man a lot, one day I hope to meet him, & sit down & talk, just talk about everything. I want him to hold me in my arms & kiss me on the forehead. we all miss you kurt, & we all love you. 1967-forever.
