@thursdayband ‘s 1st and final promo group shots. - 20 years ago I got the opportunity to shoot a then unknown “emo” band called Thursday. I hadn’t heard them at the time but we hit it off and I had a feeling I’d like whatever music they produced because they’re such interesting and cool people with a clear vision of their art. Little did I know how much their music would blow my mind and their 3rd album #War All The Time” would be one of my favorite albums ever. They helped put a whole genre of music on the map. I stayed friends with them the entire time and worked with them throughout their career. I went to Brooklyn this past weekend to see them play their finals shows as a band. I asked if we could do a quick “final” shot for old times sake and they were willing to humor me ☺️. We positioned the band in the same order (but added Andrew on the far left) The first shot is current, the second is 20 years ago.
