I wanted to share some of the background and character artwork I did for the animated “Phantom in the Mirror” trailer I made a few months back.I studied a bunch of artwork from the original series (backgrounds, character model sheets, storyboards, etc) and replicated the drawing style to make Vlad’s manor and Clockwork’s domain. But for Clockwork, I used a different color palette to make it look more purple-ish. For Dark!Danny’s character design, he had to look a little older than series!Danny, maybe by half a year to one year older. That meant making his eyes smaller and changing his character design slightly. -- source link
