‘Flower Mantis’. A new one where I went back to a lot of older processes that I had missed using, particularly for the background. The music I listened to during making this one was also really important. About half way through I decided to randomly listen to System of a Down for the first time (apart from having heard Chop Suey). Things got a whole lot more chaotic and experimental which was a lot fun for me. I didn’t realise how good of a band they are/were. I have obsessively listened to about 20 of their tracks over and over for the last week or so Their drummer is an absolute beast! I also really wanted to make a mantis piece as they are f-ing cool. -- source link
