Pages from the Kahun Gynaecological Papyrus, one of the oldest medical texts in the history of the world. The manuscript was written in 1800 BCE and describes women’s health issues. Many of the cures are based on having the patient inhale burning herbs or rubbing oils on the woman’s body.
