Recently @simonamroy and I have been brainstorming the possibilities of a world inhabited by megafauna descended from terrestrial arthropods (mainly solifugids and other arachnids) . Here are some rough explorations I’ve made showing highly specialized arthropods occupying the ecological niches of (from left to right) moose, yak, gazelle, and giraffes/sauropods.
