tfsplash: I don’t know how it happened. Even though we had taken our separate paths, my twin sister, Karen, and I were well on the road to success. She had graduated valedictorian of our high school, and I managed to get a free ride through university because of my volleyball. We only had a couple more months of university, and then we were both going to start prestigious internships in our respective fields. Then, one day, her friend invited us to his birthday at Hooters. I found it kind of odd, since I had never met the guy before, but I didn’t really want to bring it up to Karen because I didn’t want to be rude. Well, when we arrived, he was nowhere to be found! There wasn’t even a reservation under his name! “Call him,” said Karen, “He’s your friend!” “What? I thought he was y-” I couldn’t even finish my sentence because a bright orange light flooded our vision, followed by a piercing, wobbling sound. I think I blacked out, although I kept seeing orange. So maybe I oranged out? I dunno. Next thing either of us know, we woke up dressed like the slutty Hooters waitresses, and our tits were stuffed. I mean, they were way bigger than they used to be, and it’s not natural! Anyways, some guy in a cheap suit came into the room after we woke up and he asked us what we’re doing over summer break. “Working here,” we both automatically replied. It seemed like an obvious answer to such an absurd question, but… wasn’t Karen supposed to be doing an internship? I could tell she was looking at me with the same confused look. “Good girls,” said the man, “Tell me what you think about your job.” “Oh, it’s so great!” we squealed, “We don’t ever want to leave here!” Y'know what? Karen was right! It just made sense to always work at Hooters. I mean, if she liked it so much, why would she go to a stupid internship anyways? “Good girls,” repeated the man, “Now, you both start your shifts in five minutes, be ready to start waiting tables!” He turned around and left the room. Karen and I looked at eachother and giggled. We were going to have so much fun working together! -- source link
