If you ever choose to love someone and settle down with them, make sure you’ve found the purest form of love. Throw away expectations. Throw away resentment and grudges. Love their cracks and scars. Seek their Light. Spend hours upon hours meditating on their soul and drink the tears they spill when their shadow overwhelms them. Don’t seek to change them. Promote what makes them happy. Tread on their life path with love and a clean step. Leave only marks of love along their heart. Too often people love selfishly, even when they think they’re being genuine because they’ve yet to love themselves purely. Too often, people seek to change in the other person what they want to change within themselves. Too often, we let society and media build demands and expectations for a true definition of love.
