Y/N is a 50s house wife who is driven slowly crazy by the mundanity and repression and endless jello, shrimp, and mayo salads. She falls in love with her neighbor Shirley, and together they hatch a plan to kill their husbands, steal their money, and escape to the countryside. Shirley gets caught, but Y/N and her friends from the local bar, a trusty gay dance troupe consisting of handsome sailors, surfers and skiers, manage to break her out of jail so she and Y/N can hop into their get away car and drive off into the sunset, richer and emancipated.
