Trotting loyally on the heels of his best friend, today we have Master Shapeshifter Morgan Daubenmir
Trotting loyally on the heels of his best friend, today we have Master Shapeshifter Morgan Daubenmire as LUST~Born a middle daughter on a farm in a backwater valley, Morgan’s childhood was hard labor, hard rules, fire and brimstone, and a future as wife and mother. She did her best to escape the doldrums of working life by ringleading elaborate high-flying adventure games for her adoring gaggle of siblings. She accidentally DID escape this life by stumbling upon a long-lost evil spellbook which merged with her body and soul, transforming her into a loathsome creature of ooze but granting her full control over her appearance. Black magic will get you stoned to death in Honeywell, so Morgan panicked and fled the valley on clumsy wings. She began a new life out in the world… which went really well and stuff as you might know.Morgan is a fierce lover of life, energetic and excitable, hedonistic and indulgent. He feels the only real crime in life is not living it cranked up past 11. He’s not our lust character because he is constantly DTF (although he is), or because as a shapeshifter he is the perfect bedmate (also a thing), or because he’s a ridiculous habitual flirt (yes again), but because his weakness for affection, applause, friendship, and cuddles is fully an addiction– it’s what he lives for. As a slippery being that can dive into a wall as mouse or flit out a window as a sparrow, and take to the skies at any time to ditch a situation, Morgan is a wild and free being who spurns responsibility and fetters of any kind. Doesn’t do authority. Considers himself above the rules of slow, earth-bound mortals. His enemies damn him as a coward, but Morgan learned long ago that what people call bravery is stupidity. He is tricky quarry, and many would see him hang for the trouble he caused during the war. His Achilles’ heel, then, the way to cut his hair, to bind him to the earth, to get a straight shot at the shapeshifter, is through his puppy-eyed love for others. Morgan ends up in a bad situation for a long time, blackmailed into royal service lest the people he cares for take a little vacay to the castle dungeon. In more subtle ways, he is weakened immensely by his friendships, putting himself in sticky situations and sometimes kicking himself for forgoing an idyllic life of freedom for the drug of love. But oh, he wouldn’t have it any other way. While we’re here, Daubenmire is literally as gender-fluid as it gets, and pan. His default pronouns are only male because his current default human form is male. He and his friends (and I) freely switch to whatever makes sense at the time. Morgan personally doesn’t identify as anything at all and gives not a singular shit about pronouns, except when somebody blows his cover by using the wrong words. He is rather pathetically in love with his best friend Magda who does not feel the same and keeps him at arm’s length because he is a crazy. It doesn’t faze him much. Pepe LePew to the end. Has tried to romance most members of his adventuring crew, a few successfully. Morgan just thinks cuddling, flirting, and sex are these really great things to share and is kind of confused why the whole world isn’t doing them all the frickin time. -- source link
