shoresoftheshadowlands:fimbry:Tumblr has been so interesting lately… It’s like my snake followers have dropped off on this platform and people like my art more now. I’m thankful and love you all. Watching tumblr through the years is so interesting, and it remains my favorite site. Here’s a current wip of what I’m working on! I can’t show the whole thing yet because it’s a secret santa piece. :> olol are you in the middle of feather hell right now too? xD (I’m also working on a highly detailed feathered thing and slowly going insane LOL) The feather style I’ve been doing lately actually doesn’t drive me insane! It’s simplified but I really like it and the clean layered look. I think the biggest thing I have to keep in mind for this piece is getting the focus on the eye right, and getting the lighting juuust so. -- source link
