sayinitsgonnabealright:On Friday, October 13th and Friday, April 13th, I got two tattoos that I’ve wanted basically since I’ve known what tattoos are.Since 2010, I’ve told every single person that I ever could that I wanted my first tattoo to be “I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you” in your handwriting from when I met you… well, I just turned 21 on July 31st, and that still hasn’t happened yet, BUT I do have these two tattoos dedicated both to you and to two important symbols in my lifeTaylor, you probably have no clue what I’m talking about, but back at the 1989 Tour Seattle you pointed to Jolene @burnttoast13 and I in left pit during Out of the Woods! That song, that moment, you and your music, and all our online interactions have carried me through some of the darkest points of my life. This year, I made the decision that I wanted to carry you, these memories, and OOTW with me everywhere I go, and so I got an evergreen tree and a sun to symbolize “the monsters turned out to be just trees, when the sun came up you were looking at me” (and to remember my home of seattle, washington, the beautiful emerald city and evergreen state)Right now, I’m going through a lot of changes… the person I thought was the love of my life and my longest relationship to date decided I was too much for him and broke up with me, and after struggling with that for a few weeks and feeling so low I recommitted to being clean from self-harm. I’m also entering my senior year of college in New York City (where I moved to inspired by YOU!), and my family is going through a lot right now with my mom’s health (she passed out during your gillette night one show and was taken to the emergency room), but I know that through it all, I have you with me Thank you for all of your love and support, thank you for playing OOTW, and I’m hoping that my mom and I can make it back to see you soon :’) -- source link
