Authenticity With multiple social media platforms popping up each year, a wide spectrum of opinions are being shared. Although the quantity of tweets and post are increasing, the ideas are mostly synonymous. My attitude towards social media is so ambivalent these days, I love the fact that it enables us to keep connected and see whats going on in peoples day to day lives. But as of recent, sites like Facebook have been convoluted with more and more articles sharing the same monotonous opinions after another. When social sites like this first started up, people always tweeted and posted up statuses, but as more and more advertising took over these sites the more articles flooded our news feed. The news articles are from 3rd party sites too, so whats the point of going on a site to be redirected to another site. Sort of like retweeting when you think of it. Everyone on twitter is predominately on there just following people for news or re tweeting their favorite musicians or regurgitating their statuses in their own way. I have seen crowds and crowds of friends stealing statuses from parody accounts and then posting it to their other social media platforms.Where has the authenticity gone. Social media is becoming a “thought train” and either your on it or re tweeting it. And if your not doing that your COMPLAINING ABOUT life ,,,which is worse then all off the above. There is way to many pessimistic people in the world let alone on my street. So I ask you …..please people ….bring on your originality. -- source link
