In 1969 filmmaker Lisanne Skyler’s father paid $1,000 for a Warhol. Just over 40 years later it sold for $3 million in a record-breaking Christie’s auction. The story is the subject of Skyler’s acclaimed new documentary ‘Brillo Box (3¢ Off)’. If you’re in San Francisco, come and see the film at @FOGFair – 1.00 PM this Saturday – where we will be presenting a screening of the @HBO documentary as proud sponsors of #Fog2017. The screening will be followed by a discussion with director Lisanne Skyler, Christie’s Laura Paulson and @SFMoMA’s Gary Garrels, and moderated by Noah Cowan.
