ronandhermionesource:I’m gonna talk about this for a moment. This is one of my favorite scenes in the whole finale. It’s sad yes, but here’s why I love it.All of Emma’s life, every battle, hardship, moment she needed a shoulder to cry on, no one was there. Not until now. Here, Emma is about to watch her own Mother burn at the stake, right in front of her eyes. When Killian figures out what is about to happen, he immediately grabs her and pulls her in close to him. Not slow, not cautiously, but instinctively, protectively and quick. She’s about to experience the hardest, heart wrenching moment in her life, and all he can do is hold her. It’s protective, it’s his instinct. He loves her so much, and when he sees what’s about to happen, he holds her as tight as he can, not to let her know things are gonna be okay, but to let her know she is NOT going through this one alone, that he is right there, right beside her, holding her. His heart is breaking for her, but he’s not gonna let her fall. When she breaks, he will be right there to hold her together. It’s just truly a very beautiful moment. I cry. -- source link
