Please take a moment to send Sundiata a letter saying happy birthday (most federal prisons won’t allow in postcards or cards anymore), to remind him he is loved and not forgotten. Sundiata, like so many others, is a victim of the FBI’s COINTELPRO efforts. Black people make up 38.6% of all the people incarcerated in Federal prisons, yet they are just 13.4% of the total US population (FBOP statistics). Sundiata Acoli is a part of that 38.6%. Because #BlackLivesMatter, we demand the release of Sundiata Acoli. Sundiata Acoli’s continued incarceration for 47 years is a drain on resources and he deserves to be free.
