Eid Mubarak! I fasted for Ramadan for the first time this past month, and what a beautiful experience it was! I started in the hopes of finding a better reflection of myself, and to be able to put myself in the shows of those less fortunate. I feel so humbled and thankful. My eyes feel wider and my heart more open. I’ve learned so much about Islam as well, and about my connection to my own spirituality–something I have had a hard time finding, especially of late in these trying times.
