Passion (n): loving something so much that you’re willing to suffer for it. ▪️▪️▪️Passion has been a recurring theme in my life lately. Moving on to a new chapter of my life had me thinking about what it is I truly love. This was such a difficult question until I heard passion defined as something you love so much that you’re willing to suffer for it. Upon hearing this, my mind went immediately to fitness and competing. Any suffering I go through, any tough workout, any endless cardio session, any night going to bed hungry, is ultimately worth it for me. My passion is what pushes me through when it gets hard. I refuse to live a life that isn’t passionate. I will find a way to shape my life around my passion. As Layne Norton says, you can’t fake passion. If you do, someone who is truly passionate will show up one day and f***ing embarrass you. With that said, I’m asking you: what are you passionate about? Is your passion reflected in your everyday life?
