and with save completion at 74%, the main story is done, having done battle with a super-powered alien as a pink lorry (which honestly isn’t super weird after Halberd Mode but is still joyously ridiculous). unlike the rest of the game, the final act is very much in the vein of post-Triple Deluxe Kirby, with the fake-out final boss, the quick-time event-based endgame, and so on. it feels fairly familiar honestly but good god Fecto Forgo is horrifying and more than justifies that PEGI ‘fear’ content descriptor that some quarters were getting excited about pre-release. it’s like something out of UnderTale’s endgame.unusually (possibly unprecedentedly) for Kirby games though, Forgotten Land seems to have not only the usual post-game content like the boss rush mode, but also maybe a bit of post-game story, which is a pleasant surprise. but obviously I need to go back and complete the last few missions for that last boss fight, and maybe try and find that HAL Room that clearly exists based on the picture shown in the credits …but for now I revel in the fact that there’s a music track named ‘Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit’ which I strongly approve of -- source link
