4T2 Vintage Glamour Curtains ConversionThese are the Some Like It Plain curtains from The Sims 4 Vintage Glamour Stuff converted for use in The Sims 2.Thanks are owed to @belladovah who extracted these for me and my husband who sat with me trying to work out shading/meshing problems.More info and download links are under the cut.Update: 18/07/2021 - Added central curtain pole piece to use with wider windows. File naming structure updated to remove hyphens so be careful when replacing that you don’t have duplicates!Update: 16/10/2021 - The left curtain will no longer accidentally default replace the Victorian lace curtains.Update: 17/10/2021 - Updated curtain was causing crashing because I uploaded the wrong thing like the doofus I am.This set includes:Some Like It Plain (Left and Right) - $200Some Like It Plain (Middle) - $50For this conversion, I decided to discard the original fabric colours and made new, translucent textures using the lovely @cluedosims​ palette. All ten colours are previewed above. There are also six metal colours which are the originals.The curtains are two separate left and right versions which you can join together or use on their own. When placed side by side, depending on the lighting, the shading might mean they don’t look seamless. The only way I found to fix it was to use flat shading instead of smooth, but that meant the pole was all jaggy angles instead of smooth and round and I decided I disliked that far more.I also brought the pole down and away from the wall a little, so the curtains fit nicely around more windows and the windowsill won’t clip through.Download: SFS | MediaFire -- source link
