neverdapl: It only takes minutes for you to support the water protectors at Standing Rock. PLEASE read!In December 5th, The Army Corps of Engineers denied the permit for the Dakota Access Pipeline to be built underneath Missouri River after water protectors stood against brutal militarized police force and extreme climate conditions for months. So why are the protesters still there?Well, dispite everything, the pipeline can still be eventually constructed. You see, financial disclosure forms released earlier this year show that President-elect Donald Trump has a stake in Energy Transfer Partners, one of the two companies responsible for the pipeline (next to Sunoco Logistics); and both still insist that they expect to finish drilling without any rerouting. It gets worst: Trump also has a stake in Phillips 66, which will hold a share of the project once completed. The Associated Press reports being told by Kelcy Warren, CEO of Dallas-based Energy Transfer, who donated to Trump’s campaign and to a committee supporting Trump’s candidacy that “he expects Trump to make it easier for his company and others to complete infrastructure projects … Do I think it’s going to get easier? Of course.”So we NEED to make sure water protectors’ endurance is PERMANENTLY respected and recognized — and we need to make it fast. But… how? Sending hand-writed letters and calling the banking institutions investing the DAPL is extremally effective — but potentially expensive and time-consuming. One simple, free and quick action we can all take is to flood those banks’ social media pages. Join the movement #NeverDAPL today!Click here and learn how.Thank you so much.
