Euphonium skirt progress~The finished waistband was 1.5″ tall and 25″ in circumference. I gave one end of the waistband an extra 0.5″ overlap tab for the eventual hook & eye closure.Interfacing was applied to the inside of the waistband. The waistband was sewn to the skirt body, then folded over and turned right side-out, and stitched down in the ditch to finish. The bottom hem of the skirt was finished as well with an overcasting stitch then 0.5″ fold. -- source link
