Do I identify as my assigned gender, female, or is a nonbinary identity more comfortable?Does it really matter all that much? To me, right now, it doesn’t. And I like being able to call myself queer and move on. It’s really nice to just be able to free up all that bandwidth devoted to fretting about it. I’ve felt approximately 1500% less stressed and 800% more confident since I started to use the word queer for myself; it’s allowed me to become more focused on actually living my life instead of getting hung up on thinking about how to categorize it. -- source link
