orriculum: magicianmew: spiral-path: staff: Here it is: Best stuff first Extremely handy if you follow a lot of people and hate missing anything good. Best Stuff First moves the best stuff on your dashboard—mhm!—right up to the top. It’s rolling out this week on iOS and Android, and comes with this Help Center article. Thanks! ✌️ Yeah sorry NO, this shit is terrible. Stuff like this makes it harder for people who actually use Tumblr to advertise their Services, their Products, their Art, and Shops. Believe me the most popular blogs do not need the help. Fuck you, Tumblr. No, I do not want “best” first, which is apparently being interpreted as “biggest.” Please support other small artists and turn this shit off. the same thing happened to me too. popular posts arent nesc. the best or most important ones either. the best laugh i’m gonna get today from a post is when my friend responds to a small post i made. it’s not gonna be any of the million-note posts i read two years ago.and the new posts about election candidates or moon phase reminders, how am i gonna see those when they’re relevant if i have to dig through a bottomless feed?what about posts where people ask for donations? you may not be excited to see them like you are for the next meme but if they never get seen, how are people who would be willing to help going to be able to offer their help??and being in a niche community, i dont want to see the most popular posts, because in these small circles, i’ve already seen them. i want to see the new posts that haven’t had time to accumulate the hundreds of notes they no doubt will. this was a dumb move @staff Agree, this has trashed my engagement. I turned it off right away, but a lot of my followers probably didn’t.Back to private blogs, I guess. -- source link
