[…if you can believe it I started this with the intent to keep it messy ]Λｅｓｔｈｅｔｉｃ░Ｓｈｅ－Ｒａ　（現へ縁）✨HOT TAKE ALERT: I think the new character designs are all really great! I do, however, also think that the actual draftsmanship in those production screenshots is a little weak, and I’m not a fan of having no actual shading on the characters either. Someone like Mamoru Hasoda can pull that off because his films totally make up for it with really expressive drawings and fluid motion so… I guess I hope the show *moves and articulates* well to compensate for, what seems to me, some visual shortcomings in the character drawing department. [Doesn’t mean I’m not excited for the show because holy heck yeah I am! Noelle Stevenson seems like an awesome and super talented artist with a really fresh writing voice and I can’t wait to see what she does with this IP.] *Edit* BG was a little sloppy so I snazzed it up a bit :D -- source link
