Lovely ideas, might steal for upcoming game This is pretty dope, but it makes me think: what if every class had a lich?Edit: What if every class has lice is also an interesting idea brought to us by autocorrect. Theoretically College of Lore Bards could just pilfer the necessary knowledge/spells & become a Charisma- based Lich.Truly devout Clerics/Loyal Warlocks of Orcus/Vecna would probably have the knowledge delivered to them in a dream… or a nightmare.Death Knight is kinda similar to a Paladin LichI suppose Rangers could be resurrected like Druids above but it’s a bit of a stretch.I think the Sorcerer spell list is not expansive enough… unless you’re a Divine Soul. Which certainly would cause extra drama on top of Lichdom. Chaos Sorcerers could also just stumble into Lichdom but that’s kinda boring.Fighters, Rouges, Barbarians, Monks & Artificers simply don’t have the magic necessary, but theoretically anyone could become a Lich with another Lich’s assistance even if they have 0 magic. The D&D 5e Monster Manual explicitly points this out, even if the monster block only shows a typical Wizard Lich. This is fantastic, I’m sorry it took so long to see. -- source link
